I don't know a single teacher who doesn't do volunteer hours. You wouldn't see that in health care, where a doctor has four surgeries scheduled in a day, but only has time to do three of them and then do his fourth at his own expense at home. What's more, he'd have to pay for his masks and lab coat to go to work, just as teachers do with their school supplies.
